Vaccine Clinic with Health Department a Success - Future Events Planned
The Center and the Oneida County Health Department partnered this past Tuesday, September 26th, to host a vaccination clinic. We were able to serve 63 patients, including 12 Children who needed vaccines for school.
The CDC Partnering for Vaccine Equity Program at The Center is getting people vaccinated for the Fall and Winter season. Two successful events have been completed with another Vaccine Clinic scheduled for October 12.
On September 12th a vaccine clinic at The Center with vaccines administered by RiteAid pharmacies had 82 participants who received 135 vaccines. [Flu: 76, Tdap: 15, Hep B: 9, Shingles: 13, Pneumonia: 18, and HPV: 4]
This past Tuesday on September 26th, The Center partnered with the Oneida County Health Department to host a vaccination clinic. We were able to serve 63 patients, including 12 Children who needed vaccines for school.
Language support is provided at every event by Compass Interpreters. Translated flyers provided by tone, the translation department, help inform the refugee and immigrant communities about the events. Community navigators, The Center staff, and other partners help to make these events a success.
