Back to School Drive
Help new families start the school year! Contribute to our 'Back to School' drive now through September.
It's that time of year! The Center is hosting a Back to School Drive to help welcome new families to our community. This fiscal year (since October 1st 2022) we have welcomed 215 individuals consisting of 78 cases. We need your help to support new families with their #backtoschool needs. We will be collecting new backpacks and supplies for students who are 5 - 18 years old. Pick up some extra items while you are out #backtoschoolshopping and drop them off at The Center Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm at our Front Desk (there is a box designated for donations). Be a part of many cultures, one school community.
You can also support by making a monetary donation. Donate any amount online or via check. Be sure to include: "Back to School" in the memo/in honor. Organizations or individuals can organize a drive to collect items at another location(s) for the immigrant and refugee community.
School supplies needed: (*supplies must be new):
backpacks, crayons, colored pencils, glue sticks / Elmer’s glue wide, spiral notebooks (college-ruled), composition books, binders, binder dividers, index cards, construction paper, child scissors, markers (wide/thin), pencils, mechanical pencils, sharpener, pens, highlighters, erasers, protractor, rulers, calculators
